21st Mission Report

The 21st Century as often heard from personal interviews everywhere in the world projects an era of significant importance.   In the minds and hearts of the Philippine American Group of Educators and Surgeons commonly known as PAGES and their program Operation H.O.P.E. (Help Other People Excel), the term 21st  by itself  is referred to as the start of a new decade in the service of the less fortunate Filipinos with congenital birth defects and other facial deformities. For this group of good Samaritans it also means completion of two decades of charitable and humanitarian endeavors nationwide.

PAGES GIFT OF HOPE TO CHILDREN FOR TWO DECADES

The secret of longevity of any voluntary organization is the assurance that its vision and mission will be pursued and carried out through the years, that there will be continuity in its programs and activities and that future plans and projects will also be drawn up and implemented.  This is precisely the thrust of the Philippine American Group of Educators and Surgeons (P.A.G.E.S.) and the very reason for its longevity.  And this is also the reason why each PAGES team member voluntarily donates their time, talent and treasure and conducts annual mission to help the needy and less fortunate children of the Philippines.

Operation Grace ("Bigyan Tulong")

In 1998, Operation Grace, originally named Operation Bigyan Tulong (Gift Giving), was launched by PAGES President Danny Tabao.

Over 700 families in 1998 and 500 families in 1999, benefited from the program by receiving bags of rice, canned meats and milk in Imus and Kawit, Cavite respectively.

Our Vision & Mission

VISION - In service of the less privileged Filipino children with birth defects requiring reconstructive treatment and other medically-related services.

MISSION - Establishment and maintenance programs from available resources towards basic human treatment and cure of other health services of children with cleft lips and cleft palates, and other birth deformities.

- Identification of indigent families to augment their standard of living by providing much needed nutritional food supplement commensurate with their daily allowable requirements.

- Promote awareness and teach lessons attendent to latest medically-approved technology worldwide.
