PAGES 2009 Mission was the courtesy visit to the Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque, III, M. D.

The historic visit was headed by Vid Figueras, R. N., PAGES Chairman and Founder, Dr. Benjamin Rigor, PAGES Co-Founder and Clinical Director, Dr. Honorato Nicodemus, PAGES Director of Anesthesia Department, Ambassador Preciosa Soliven, Chairperson, PAGES Philippines, Inc., and Ricardo IV D. Fulgencio, PAGES Philippines Mission Coordinator.

- In light of serving more underpriviledged Filipinos in their quest to uplift their normal lives, the Philippine American Group of Educators and Surgeons, Incorporated (PAGES Phlippines. Inc) had been commissioned in Manila,Philippines. The Philippine charter is designed primarily to assistin coordinating the yearly mission of PAGES nationwide; i.e.,selection of missionsites, conduction of fundraising activities and finding hosts and sponsors for the mission and all other mission-oriented requirements. Another areas of interest for PAGES Philippines,Inc are:

(a) Identification of a permanent warehouse to store donated supplies and equipment;

(b) conducting medical and surgical missions, including but not limited to harelip surgery only;

(c) expand yearly medical and surgical missions spreading throughout the year;

(d) serve as the first point of contact in case of a nationwide catasrophic emergency for natural disasters like volcanic eruptions, typhoons,landslides, floodings, earthquakes, etc. for the immediate delivery of needed emergency supplies; and

(e) other humanitarian efforts assignment as maybe dictated by PAGES.
